I'M 25 AND I'M SCARED OF GETTING OLD

Eva, age 25, single, no children
I can't even believe that I'm no longer a little girl, so getting older has always been a nightmare for me.

Naomi, age 30, single, no children
At age 18, I was terrorized at the thought of turning 20. Then I got used to being 25, then 29nine. And still, turning 30 was a catastrophe filled with total panic!

Andrea, age 31, married, no children
I couldn't believe it when I turned 30! I was still a teacher and, for the first time, my students, who used to think I was younger than my age, guessed right. I was so depressed. I understood that I would never be the youngest of the teachers, the favourite one. My wonderful life was over.

Nathalie, age 31, married, two children
Until the age of 20, I liked it when people thought I was older than my age. Since I was 22 or 23, I prefer when people think I'm younger.

Naomi: For me, it's simple. Women past the age of 35 are no longer young.

Andrea: I'd say, more like after 40...

Eva: I don't know what to say. In my mind, I'm still 17. When I realize that I'm twenty-five, I don't feel young at all.

Andrea: Yet, men are in their prime until they reach 45 or 50...

Naomi: I'd go for a 45-year-old, but not older.

Nathalie: No, 37 is the age limit for a man! And 40 for a woman! (Laughter)
