    Say goodbye to unwanted hair

Unwanted body hair: For some, it's just an annoyance. For others, it is a painful ordeal. Many women have struggled with unwanted hair on their face or body for years. Some have turned to electrolysis as a permanent method to remove the hair and have discovered successful results.

"I went through a lot," says Naisim Desai of Toronto. "When people talked to me, I thought they were looking at the hair on my face."

Desai jokingly explains the day she looked at her son who was 16 at the time and trying to grow a goatee when she thought to herself that she was doing a better job than he was. She says that's when she realized she needed to do something about it.

"Mine was a really severe case," she says.

Desai says a friend of hers recommended a place and that's where Desai's curiosity began. She says she became interested in how electrolysis works and eventually decided to study the technique herself.

Today Desai is a trained electrologist working with her own clients at the Danforth Electrolysis Clinic in Toronto.

"It definitely changes your attitude," says Desai. "Your self-esteem goes up."
