MICHELLE, 33 AND MARRIED (LAST YEAR IN JAMAICA!), WORKS FOR THE SAME VACATION WHOLESALER AS DAGMAR

Michelle only had one request for her designated stylist, Alyson, before beginning her makeover, "Not too short!" First of all, her husband made it quite clear that he didn't want her looking like a boy and secondly, Michelle herself wanted to keep a certain length. The big change would then take place with the colour...

Alyson decided to lighten Michelle's naturally dark hair with Platifiz Precision, a bleaching compact powder. This process would then allow for concentrated copper highlights on a plum base thanks to the popular highlight cream Majicontrast and to Majirouge Mix.

After a session with Rollerball, the hairdryer, Michelle was escorted to the sink. Without using water Alyson removed the excess colour on the skin to make sure no streaks would remain. She then rinsed the dark colour with cold water to bring out the hair's shine before removing the highlight foil. A toner was then applied to the highlights.

Michelle actually fell asleep while her hair was being coloured - something like a massage!

Ten minutes later, it was time to shampoo. Alyson chose Gloss Colour, a product that brings out the best in colour-treated hair. She then applied Vitamino Colour treatment that not only nourishes and softens the hair shaft, but also protects the colour's shine. Finally, to ensure that the hair would be smooth and silky for styling, Alyson slathered Michelle's hair with Lisse Extreme.

Alyson made sure she didn't go scissor-happy and only trimmed and layered Michelle's hair just enough to give it a bit of lift. Her new colour was the main element in her makeover and her hair looked simply maavelous!
