What Happened?
Salon International Spring 2005 was inspiring business
Inspiring business is what Salon International does - and it
did for the three days that it ran at ExCeL in London last weekend.
Visitors flocked to Salon International to be educated and inspired
in every area of the hairdressing industry.
Thousands of industry professionals descended on ExCeL in London's
Docklands to experience the buzzing exhibition hall (the Hair
Show), Salon Live shows, Salon Seminars and Salon Business Extra.
The exhibition hall featured everything needed to operate a
professional hairdressing salon, and, with tips and techniques
being shared on the many stages over the weekend, it combined
inspiration and business perfectly.
The Salon Live theatre was packed out to hairdressers eager
to see cutting edge work by Anthony Mascolo, Patrick Cameron;
Vidal Sassoon; Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and team; TIGI's Inspirational
Youth team; and for the first time, the 2003 British Hairdressing
Award Winners.
Education was top of the agenda in the Salon Seminars where
Toni & Guy, Mahogany and Vidal Sassoon gave step-by-step guides
to creating cutting and colouring techniques. Industry experts
shared their hints, tips and practical advice on running a successful
business in the Salon Business Extra programme covering key
topics for those serious about hairdressing as a business.
More than 200 stands in the exhibition hall offered presentations,
demonstrations, the hottest new products along with the special
show offers to visitors eager to see everything that was new
in the hairdressing industry.
The atmosphere created by British hairdressers makes Salon
International unique. Combine this with the amount of UK and
international press that attends in order to promote hairdressing
worldwide, and it is safe to say Salon International rocks!
