Pure Presents Strongest Ever Line Up
Thousands of UK and International buyers will be treated
to Pure’s strongest ever event when it opens its doors
at Olympia, London from 15 – 17 August 2004. Over
800 brands will be showcasing spring / summer ’05
as well as short order autumn / winter merchandise.
The August event has more first time brands than ever before,
giving buyers even more scope to pick up those essential
new names, the next generation of up and coming designers
as well as networking and keeping those important contacts
with the established labels.
Newcomers to Pure include renowned Spanish brand, Armand
Basi who will relaunch their womenswear collection under
the new designer, Miriam Ocariz and creative director, Juste
de Nin. Funky new British brand, Diva Vintage uses an eclectic
mix of modern designs and vintage fabrics to create their
distinctive look. Young Irish designer, Petria Lenehan,
a recent graduate of F.I.T in New York will launch her first
womenswear collection, Petria which has a strong romantic
influence with a directional twist.
Another first time exhibitor Jacqueline Mulvanny, Designer,
Arm Candy said “It was one of our most valued customers
that told us that we simply had to be at Pure and with a
recommendation like that you really have to listen. We visited
the event last season for the first time and signed up for
August.”
The daily runway shows at Pure are highly regarded among
visitors, giving a real insight into the forthcoming trends.
This, alongside informative live trend predictions by Drapers
Record ensures that all buyers are armed with valuable knowledge
to aid buying choices. The huge variety of product on offer
also ensures buyers can get the right balance of forward
order and fresh injections of fast fashion merchandise.

busy and vibrant with a superb mix of commercial and cutting
edge fashion, daily runway shows, loads of trend information
and the added appeal of a number of stylish bars and restaurants.

Strategic buying is made easy as the show which is divided
into key buying areas: Spirit for creative youth brands,
Vision for the inspirational designer brands, Impulse for
the popular casual names, Elan for modern womenswear, Life
for unisex brands and of course a dedicated floor for accessories.
Over the past two years Pure has increased the number of
overseas buyers attending the event, many of these travel
to see the exceptionally talented British labels which are
highly exportable. Favourites include brands such as: Ben
Sherman, Billy Bag, Fenn Wright & Manson, Lulu &
Red and Marina Avraam joined this season by Trash Kulture,
Amanda Darling, Shirley Geek and Galibardy.
