Premier KIDS
Kick off the New Year with Premier KIDS
Premier KIDS is the UK’s leading childrenswear trade
show and takes place between 30 January and 1 February 2005
at the NEC in Birmingham. As the only kidswear event offering
contemporary and inspirational collections for the 0 -16
year old market from children’s clothes, accessories
and footwear right through to nursery items, travel goods
and lifestyle products, Premier KIDS continues to be regarded
as the UK’s ‘must attend’ event.
Our January 2005 show is set
to be an exciting mix of well respected brands and invigorating
new debuts. Vanilla Park, Noa Noa, Jackpot, Dragonflydell,
Cottonfield are just a few of the fresh new brands showcasing
their range and will be supported by well established popular
names such as Little Darlings, Pampolina, Noukies, Berlingot,
Ollie and plenty more. We also welcome back No Added Sugar,
Mini Su, Terra Su, Clayeux and Rrappers, Toyko Angels, Jeep
and Chupa Chups.
Edited into seven sections the show offers different lifestyle
ranges to reflect the ever-evolving childrenswear market.
Classic KIDS – offers
timeless collections suitable for all occasions
Contemporary KIDS – dedicated to modern and stylish
fashion lead brands
Designer KIDS – offers international luxury designer
labels
KIDS Essentials – must have accessories to view
KIDS Home and Travel – showcases quality nursery items,
children’s furniture, travel ware and gifts
KIDS Express – short order children’s high fashion
and casual wear on offer
Sport, Jeans and Casual KIDS – offers impactful lifestyle
ranges
Last season’s event saw a 12% increase in visitor
numbers and the overall consensus from visitors was that
it was ‘a very good show’. Jacqui King a regular
visitor to Premier KIDS considers ‘this to be a very
important show – and key to buying for the season’.
For first time visitor Claire Thomas, she ‘was very
impressed with the show’ and felt that the different
clothing ranges offered ‘good quality’ and that
the show itself was ‘well organised’.
As an added benefit for retailers, Jackie Cooke Ex-Selfridges
buyer is back again offering practical advice on the buying
process from initial planning right through to implementation.
Forecasts on what’s hot and what’s not will
be presented, and focuses on the colours, fabric and styles
for Autumn/Winter 05/06 all under one roof.
Buyers can look forward to upbeat, fun, fashion shows bursting
with energy and full of vision. Running three times a day,
the innovative fashion shows bring to life the various contemporary,
casual and designer brands on offer.
The UK DTI will once again be working closely with Premier
KIDS bringing top retailers from Scandinavia through an
Inward mission. Expect a top line up of retailers from Iceland,
Finland and Norway next January.
